Signatuur V  Gonerk..... (???)

Jan Houwe Kuiper   "Haringvliet"

C. Jonker

Afmetingen 20 / 30 cm.

Mori Kinsen

This Japanese born artist worked a lot in Indonesia
and was one of the favourite artist of Soekarno.
He worked in the Barbizon style what is remarkable.
You can observe these influences better in
his Oil paintings. Work on paper. Dimensions:
30 / 45 cm.

He signed his work simply with Mori Kinsen and
sometimes added a red stamp that states it to come
from his workshop.

Jules van de Leene

Watercolour heightened with (probably) gouache
from the belgium painter Jules van de Leene.
Work on paper. Dimensions: 50 / 60 cm

.
The back of this painting shows the first attempt
in producing this painting but probably van de Leene
was not satisfied with this result so he started all
over again. In pencil La Cambre has been added what
possibly could point in the direction of Ter Kameren,
a place near Brussels.

This picture makes it easier to study the signature
done in black ink. Most of the watercolours from van
de Leene were made before 1922 - 1923.

Fritz van Luppen / Merello Amedeo / Meiring Gabriël

Fritz van Luppen

This Belgium born artist worked a lot in England during worldwar
1 and 2 and mostly in watercolour technique. Presented
here is one of his bigger watercolours: Dimensions 35 / 48 cm.

As the titel allready explaines we have the Chateau de
Chatsworth presented here placed in an autumn atmosphere.

Amedeo Merello

We found the quality of this Italian painter not
allways of consistent quality. However in some works
he shows great skills and his colours are always
worth an observation. We're glad to be able
to obtain this beautiful work. He worked a lot
in Liguria (near Genua) Oil on panel.

Gabriël Meiring

This presents an early work of the Brussels based artist
Gabriël Meiring. He was born in South Africa and in fact is a
concert pianoplayer. I'm intrigued by that of course as in
fact I'm a musician (guitarplayer) as well. We are
planning to visit his workshop in Brussels in the
near future. Another remarkable thing is that this
painting has been done on silk. Oil on silk.
Dimensions 35 / 45 cm.

Marrot / Miolée / De Muylder

The back of this painting.

Still Life that has been done in really thick layers of paint.
After some investigatios the original signatue proved
to be cut off. In fact it resembles another still life of
Peter brouwer that much I tend to believe it is from
his hand! Oil on canvas. Dimensions 60 / 80 cm.

Here is presented an original Peter Brouwer: The same copper can
and bottle and certainly the way the paint has been put on the
canvas. The signature is on the left.
The only signature on the first work

Adrianus Miolée

This painting has been sold being painted by J. Fons
what should be another name for Löbker. However
the signature is false as we've allready expected.
This must be a work from one of the post impressionistic
working painters in the well known The Hague School
style. Problem is that there are different "smaller" masters
that were able to produce a painting like this so the
real name will be a bit of a problem.
We were thinking in the direction of Adrianus Miolée
who catched more than often a dreamy kind of light
with yellow, orange and purple in it.
Oil on canvas. Dimensions 40 / 50 cm.

Pierre Willy de Muijlder

A somewhat smaller work on panel by this Brussels based
artist and teacher at the Royal academie of Brussels.

This signature proves to be quite convincing though most
of his other work appears to be more traditional surrealistic.
Work on panel. Dimensions: 30 / 40 cm.

NEL .... / PELLETIER

NEL...

We liked the approach of this artist regarding the oriental
subjects as the light works well in this painting.
It has been done on an old solid mahogany wooden
panel and has to be investigated yet.
Oil on panel. Dimensions: 50 / 60 cm.

The signature has been deliberately worked on.
Maybe someone will recognize this one.....

Pelletier

A very skilled crayon by this artist.
Though not that popular it has been done with
craftsmanship to my believe.

There are a lot of artists called Pelletier
so which person is the right one?

Psicha Fanny ? Jaap van Roon

To my surprise an obscure small still life with
lots of quality in it. There is a Willem van Roon
mentioned in the Pieter Scheen and I could
find only one work from the hand of Jaap van Roon
in the several existing auction sites.
Work on panel. Dimensions 17 / 17 cm.

As the signature states this work must
have been produced in 1951, my year of
birth! I will contact the RKD in the Hague
as soon as possible in order to have this
artist registered one way or another as this
work at least deserves this!

Sanchez C. / Shaar Pinchas

C. SANCHEZ

This watercolour gives a nice view on the Plaza Mayor
in Madrid. We couldn't trace this artist and perhaps
it is one of those street artist that sell their products
in large quantities. But this watercolour is
further worked out as most of the so called
touristic stuff. Being there several times we
simply liked it.
This view has been taken from the westside.
Watercolour. Dimensions 25 / 35 cm.

As this signature states it has been made in 1961.
A closer investigation shows the pencil marks.

PINCHAS SHAAR

One of Israelien celebrated artists, Pinchas Shaar
made this mixed technique work.
Immediately recognizable, his work keeps
interesting me. Work on paper. 30 / 40 cm

The authentic signature that is convincing.
