Marrot / Miolée / De Muylder

The back of this painting.

Still Life that has been done in really thick layers of paint.
After some investigatios the original signatue proved
to be cut off. In fact it resembles another still life of
Peter brouwer that much I tend to believe it is from
his hand! Oil on canvas. Dimensions 60 / 80 cm.

Here is presented an original Peter Brouwer: The same copper can
and bottle and certainly the way the paint has been put on the
canvas. The signature is on the left.
The only signature on the first work

Adrianus Miolée

This painting has been sold being painted by J. Fons
what should be another name for Löbker. However
the signature is false as we've allready expected.
This must be a work from one of the post impressionistic
working painters in the well known The Hague School
style. Problem is that there are different "smaller" masters
that were able to produce a painting like this so the
real name will be a bit of a problem.
We were thinking in the direction of Adrianus Miolée
who catched more than often a dreamy kind of light
with yellow, orange and purple in it.
Oil on canvas. Dimensions 40 / 50 cm.

Pierre Willy de Muijlder

A somewhat smaller work on panel by this Brussels based
artist and teacher at the Royal academie of Brussels.

This signature proves to be quite convincing though most
of his other work appears to be more traditional surrealistic.
Work on panel. Dimensions: 30 / 40 cm.
